What our Parents/Carers think

"Ladybirds have looked after my eldest son from the age of two years and four months until he started school, and now my younger child too. I’ve always felt that both boys have been truly met by the setting, seen, understood, and celebrated for who they are as individuals. Their strengths have been championed and developed through nurturing care and well-matched opportunities, while they’ve also been supported to overcome the things they’ve found more challenging.

Sharon and her team are consistently kind, supportive, and encouraging, not only to the children they care for but to parents as well. The activities are well structured, thoughtfully designed, and wonderfully creative. They work hard to keep things engaging and relevant, aligning learning with meaningful events such as Remembrance Day and encouraging the children to think beyond themselves by exploring other cultures.

As a parent, I feel very happy and confident in both the academic and emotional environment offered by Ladybirds. I felt my older son was well prepared for school by attending the setting and his transition has gone well there. Sharon and her team always take the time to listen to any concerns I have or questions and write in-depth reports weekly on their development activities, which I love reading. Both myself and their father feel incredibly lucky that both our children have received such outstanding educational support and nurturing care from Ladybirds pre-school. "

What our Staff think

"I started my involvement with Ladybird as a parent helper. In 1999, I was offered the position of Playgroup Leader and I'm still here!
There is so much fun with paint, minibeasts, roleplay, stories, construction, celebrations and more. Watching the children grow and learn is a privilege.
