Fees and Funding Guide
Ladybird Playgroup is a registered charity and therefore all income received from either fees or funding is retained to cover rent and staff wages, replace equipment and update resources.
Funding Guide for Parents/Carers
All 3 and 4 year old children are entitled to funding, from the term after their third birthday. Some 2 year old children are also eligible, beginning from the term after their second birthday. Please see the Cambridgeshire County Council website for details, or follow the link for more information on funding. Application forms, to apply for funding, are available from Angela Mulholland our administrator.
​We offer up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week for working parents, who meet the Government's eligibility criteria. Please use the following link.
Ladybird Playgroup Fees
Booking your child's playgroup sessions
Book your child's regular weekly playgroup sessions initially via the application form, then in liaison with staff. Extra sessions can usually be accommodated, on a one-off basis, and should booked in advance.

Additional Services & Consumables Supplement
At Ladybird we do not charge extra fees for ‘Additional Services & Consumables Supplement’ . We provide a range of healthy and balanced snacks for your child as well as the option of milk or water to drink.
We provide nappy bags, wipes, spare sunhats and sun cream (to be applied to your child with permission, in the hot weather, unless you decide to bring in an alternative.)
However we do ask that you supply your child's nappies.
If you can/wish to contribute to our snacks then we would be very grateful.

Breakfast Club and Early Bug Fees
Breakfast Club (8am-9am)
Our daily Breakfast Club is open to Ladybird Playgroup children aged three years and over, together with children from Thriplow Primary School. All children need to have completed a booking form prior to attending. Session fees: £7.00 first child; £6.80 siblings. Any sessions cancelled with less than 48hours notice will still be charged, likewise you need to book sessions with no less than 24hrs notice. Short notice sessions cannot be guaranteed and anything booked within 24hrs will be charged at £7.75 per child and £7.50per sibling. Breakfast Club form

Early Bug Club (8.30am-9am)
Our daily Early Bug Club is open to Ladybird Playgroup children aged three years and over, together with children from Thriplow Primary School, Children join the Breakfast Club Children but there is no Breakfast. If you as a parent need to miss the rush of the school drop off, you can drop your children off at 8.30am. All children need to have completed a booking form prior to attending. Session fees: £4.00 per child. Any sessions cancelled with less than 48hours notice will still be charged, likewise you need to book sessions with no less than 24hrs notice. Short notice sessions cannot be guaranteed and anything booked within 24hrs will be charged £4.75 per child. Click on the Breakfast Club form.
