Ladybird Playgroup is run by a voluntary parent committee and a great team of qualified staff. The Committee is involved in planning and running fundraising events, reviewing/agreeing the playgroup's policies and procedures, and much more besides. It is a great way to meet other parents at Ladybird Playgroup and also be involved in supporting the staff on site.
If you would like to join the Committee, please do contact us as we would love to hear from you.
Join our Ladybird Playgroup Committee!
A crucial aspect of Ladybird Playgroup is that we are a charity. We are run by a voluntary committee of trustees, who offer their time and energy to promote and support the pre-school. The majority of committee members are parents of children currently at the pre-school, however grandparents, carers and other non-related members of the Fowlmere and Thriplow community can join too!
The committee works hand in hand with our Manager, Deputy Managers, Staff and Administrator and is vital to ensure the smooth running of the pre-school. They meet as needed to plan fundraising events, check the budget remains on track, review the policies and ensure that the needs of all children and staff are being met.
Being part of the committee is a responsibility but it is also great fun and a great opportunity for personal development! It is an excellent way of meeting new people and giving back to the community, whilst making a positive impact on children's early year's education.
If you would like to join the committee or want more information, please email: ladybirdplaygroupthriplow@gmail.com
